Would you care for some tea? This Ironside is your soldier and only wants to help you win the war. Unless the Doctor shows up, that is, then all blast guns are set to EXTERMINATE! Created by Christina Cooper of CCCustoms, this Ironside Dalek, complete with helpful army utility belt and tiny hand-painted Union Jack, is all set to go undercover in the British Army.
Cooper started out as a casual POP fan, but when Doctor Who POPs came on the scene she knew she was hooked. It wasn’t long after that ideas for Who-related customs started running through her head, and a happily accidental extra Dalek lying around became the subject of her attention. A stickler for details, Cooper researched the Ironside thoroughly before beginning work, using an air drying clay and acrylics to bring this disguised Dalek to life. From its tiny sculpted belt buckle to the stitching details on its pack, this Dalek is set to serve in whatever way it can.
This Dalek has already invaded the collection of our own PopVinyls.com owner and publisher (likely to EXTERMINATE the rest of his collection in another clever ruse), but more will surely follow! Just be careful it doesn’t EXTERMINATE you in the process.
