Go Go Gadget Custom POP! This iconic bionic detective was created by Carmen Pannulla Jr of “Customs by Carmen” and you can count on this POP to not self-destruct like his next mission assignment. Complete with Gadget ‘Copter, Gadget Coat, and Gadget Legs, Inspector Gadget is set to foil M.A.D.’s next evil plan – if he doesn’t get foiled himself, first.
Like many custom artists, after stumbling into a collection of his own Pannulla discovered there were POPs that he wanted in his collection that didn’t exist. Using customization as an opportunity to both remedy the situation and once again explore the art of sculpting, Pannulla dove into his childhood and pulled out a certain cyborg detective. “I like to choose subjects that I have a connection with,” Pannulla noted. “With Inspector Gadget I loved the show as a kid, and also loved the show Get Smart which inspired Inspector Gadget.”
Armed with Instamorph, Pannulla’s sculpting tool of choice, Pannulla called his Gadget Art Skills and struck a perfect balance between POP stylization and gadgetized Inspector. Doctor Claw will never know what’s coming for him. Wowsers!
