Now that I am back from Toy Fair 2019, I will be rolling out stories and images from the booths I visited and the events I took part in over the span of the convention. First up is a look at a set of vinyl figures and plush coming from PhatMojo, featuring characters from the very popular Unstable Unicorns game and expansions.

For those of you unaware, the card game Unstable Unicorns by TeeTurtle won the People’s Choice Toy of the Year Award last week prior to the launch of Toy Fair. What’s great about the People’s Choice Award, over any other of the Toy of the Year Awards, is that it’s based off votes on the Toy Awards website ONLY, meaning it won only because it got the most votes. No sales matrix or industry professionals made a decision or had any say. It all had to do with the fans.

This year, Unstable Unicorns will be teaming up with PhatMojo to release some vinyl figures and plush. The first collection (as you see above) will be a blind box version of characters from the game. Retail will probably be around $10. No word yet on distribution.

My favorites? Rainbow Kittencorn and Fancy Narwhal, obviously.

Additionally, larger vinyl figures, probably retailing around $20, will feature some of the standout characters. In the TeeTurtle booth on the show floor, they had a prototype of the Rainbow Kittencorn large vinyl on display.

Additionally, there will be some plush released. No word on the price point or distribution of them. The PhatMojo booth had the Zombie Unicorn one on display (seen below) and the TeeTurtle booth had the Fancy Narwhal on display (not shown).

I am a BIG fan of Unstable Unicorns. I have all of the expansions to date, and am looking forward to adding the Chaos and Control decks to my collection (Kickstarter Exclusive) when they arrive soon. I cannot wait to get more information on these figures and plush, and hopefully add some of them to my collection.

NOTE: There are so many stories of great things I saw, they are divided up between PopVinyls.com and our sister site, DisKingdom.com. You can check out a bunch of great stuff on both sites.
