For today’s review, I take a look at one of the Funko x Disney Parks exclusives for 2018. Arguably the most popular Funko release that Disneyland and Walt Disney World had this year, this Pop! Ride features Ezra in a Buggy (known in the attraction as a Doombuggy) from theĀ Haunted Mansion attraction.

Ezra is one of the three “Hitchhiking Ghosts” in the attraction. At the end of the ride, one of the three joins guests in the Doombuggies for the final section of the ride… and, according to the Ghost Host narrating the ride, follows the guests home. The other two ghosts are Gus and Phineas, and all three of them have appeared before in Pop! form. The trio were released together in the Disney Parks with a paint scheme similar to this Ezra, and also at San Diego Comic Con in a Glow in the Dark variant.

While I have been trimming my Disney collection down as a whole, the segment of it that I still enjoy collecting and growing is the Disney Parks set. Walt Disney World, and Disneyland to a certain level, I consider my “happy place”, and I try to go as often as possible. Living in New York, it can be a bit difficult. However, having these little reminders from Funko on display throughout my apartment help let me savor the memories of past trips as I anticipate the next time I am down there.

Part of me is hoping that Funko releases the other two thirds of the trip in Doombuggies as well. However, as hard as this one was to get for a lot of collectors out there, I am also worried how intense the other two releases will be. Thankfully I have a few friends that live down by Walt Disney World that help me out with releases when they can, so that’s a plus.

Are you collecting any of the Funko x Disney Parks releases? Which one has your favorite been so far, and which ones are you hoping to see in the future? Let me know in the comments below.
