For today’s Pop! review, I wanted to take a gander at the recently released Flocked Bugs Bunny, which was a Target Online exclusive a few weeks back. Featuring our favorite “wascally wabbit”, this version of Bugs has that flocked, furry feel to him… very popular for exclusives these days. However, sometimes the flocking can go terribly wrong. Let’s see how this one stacks up.

As a choice for being flocked, Bugs makes sense. And given that larger parts of him are white, it was smart that the team actually used white flocking instead of painting on the white (which caused my Rajah to have some issues). The biggest issue I have with him is that he was very hard to stand on his own. Not sure this is just because of the flocking being added, but I have had similar issues before with flocked characters (Red was the same way). I have a feeling that the flocking gives the figure just that amount of top heaviness. I was able to get him standing long enough for a partial turnaround look.

Overall, while I like this Pop! Vinyl, now that I have him and took a closer look at him, I am not sure I need him in my collection. I am not trying to be a completest for this series, and perhaps the regular Bugs Bunny can stand on his own better. Still, great job this time around with the flocking. If you are a flocked character collector, this is a great one to have.

If you were able to get the Flocked Bugs Bunny from Target Online, I would love to hear your thoughts on it.
