This week’s spotlight proves that friendship is villainous with Devina Lindberg’s DC Pony Villains series. This delightfully devilish pairing of our favorite Little Ponies and DC’s most notorious villains is adorable and treacherous at the same time, playful yet dangerous. Sculpted details travel from Poison Ivy’s leaf-embedded mane to the Joker’s trim tie to Harley’s signature mask.
When asked how she started customizing POP’s, Devina noted that she stumbled on POP Vinyl’s by accident, after which she was inspired to create her first custom POP and discovered how much she enjoyed the process. Since then, she has gone on to customize an assortment of characters, from League of Legends to Star Wars to My Little Pony.
Regarding her inspiration, Devina stated that “sometimes I just start and see where it takes me. This is what was done for the dc ponies, no sketching, no nothing I just started and kept going till I was done.” Sometimes ideas just click, and who are we to argue when they click so perfectly!
