There is this thing called licensing. Funko can’t just put anybody they want in a series. They have to be licensed to do it. And Mario’s owner, Nintendo, does not license out their items much.

I do have a question, I know licensing is an issue but because you have other Disney Pops. Would Kingdom Hearts be apart of the pop world?
If so, would it be possible to be on a list where you can have a heads up to pre-order. Of course I would love Pokémon as well but I doubt you guys would ever be able to narrow down a group of Pokémon that would make Everyone happy let alone getting the deal with Nintendo and making them happy with the result of the Pops.

Everyone I know who plays Dragon Age are incredibly disappointed that there are no Pop Vinyls of any of the characters from any of the games. I know there are other types of them as vinyls, but Pops are the best. It makes getting presents difficult as a lot of my friends only like Dragon Age.
Please consider adding them.

It seems your missing some exclusives on your list. The white Murloc that’s a GameStop exclusive and the red mad moxxi that’s a GameStop exclusive. Also the call of duty set is a GameStop exclusive. Plus there is a hot topic exclusive of Goliath that glows in the dark.
I’d love to see Pops based on the Dark Souls franchise. I think a Looking Glass Knight Pop would be pretty epic. The Dark Souls property simply lacks in the merchandise department all the way around; painfully so.

Just got my first pop ever yesterday, a GITD Vault Boy. I’m super happy w/ him, and defiantly will be getting more pops in the future. I’ve heard that pops tend to not glow very well, but thankfully mine does!
Metal Gear Solid and Dark Souls ones would be epic! How I’d love to see tiny, square-headed solaire praising the sun on my desk, and think of how epic a extra large POP of a metal gear would be!

That means Pop Vinyls have to get a permission from Nintendo to create those Nintendo characters first before Nintendo may file a lawsuit against Pop Vinyls for violating the copyrights.
I know this a request made before, but anyone think Five Nights at Freddy’s would get a series? I mean it’s an indie game, so I would’ve thought licensing would be easy.
I don’t think it’s popular enough for a series anytime soon. The hypes already died down, at least until the fourth game, and even then there’s nothing for two years until the movie comes out if at all. Hell they haven’t even done hunger games yet.
Deviating from the typical requests but I would love some Project Zero/Fatal Frame Pop additions.
The series has some pretty iconic figures, not sure if the game is popular enough to contend with other suggestions but it IS up there with other horror games.

Do you know what I would like to see Funko make? The early iconic PlayStation characters like Spyro, Crash Bandicoot, Ratchet & Clank, Sly Cooper (my personal favorite), and Jak & Daxter. It would make sense to make at least Ratchet and Clank and Sly Cooper due to the fact that they are going to be in their own movie this year and next.
I would love to see some more figures from the Blizzard universe though? I understand you already have license for some characters 🙂

– Malthael (diablo universe, main antagonist of the most recent expansion)

Given the recent popularity of Blizzard’s game Heroes of the Storm, I think characters like these could be a success. I personally hold Malfurion as a big all time favorite, who would fit very well in your stock since his brother (Illidan) is already available!

five nights at freddys! This line would be a great small line for the horror/game genre! Freddy fazbear, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy would be regular pops (not exclusive,chase etc.) but golden Freddy (being a character that’s rareto encounter in the game) could be a special metallic/glow in the dark hot topic exclusive or just a exclusive(doesn’t really matter what store) A possible Five nights at freddys 2 line could be made after if this actually works. I think that a five nights at freddys line would be great! Freddy, Bonnie, chica, and foxy can be a normal pop (not exclusive) but golden freddy could be a metallic hot topic exclusive (or whichever store by choice). My friend helped me out with this idea

Why are the Mass Effect ones so lame? Garrus and Tali, awesome. But, you’ve missed out most of the main characters! Only having Male Shep isn’t acceptable, there are two Shepards available and I think there should be a female Shepard character model, too. Don’t limit your audience with gender-biased notions that male Shep is a default. Also, where is Wrex? Grunt is a far less important character than Wrex, and a Joker and Liara one wouldn’t go a miss as well as Thane. Don’t be a cop-out, guys.
I don’t think you truly know how licensing works lol. Each license holder has to approve which characters and designs are made. Then you have to counter in choices based on sales. I personally don’t play the game but then again, I don’t own Funko and make decisions. We’re a news site. lol

Everyone I know who plays Dragon Age are incredibly disappointed that there are no Pop Vinyls of any of the characters from any of the games. I know there are other types of them as vinyls, but Pops are the best. It makes getting presents difficult as a lot of my friends only like Dragon Age.
Please consider adding them.

Just got my first pop ever yesterday, a GITD Vault Boy. I’m super happy w/ him, and defiantly will be getting more pops in the future. I’ve heard that pops tend to not glow very well, but thankfully mine does!

I know this a request made before, but anyone think Five Nights at Freddy’s would get a series? I mean it’s an indie game, so I would’ve thought licensing would be easy.
I don’t think it’s popular enough for a series anytime soon. The hypes already died down, at least until the fourth game, and even then there’s nothing for two years until the movie comes out if at all. Hell they haven’t even done hunger games yet.

Do you know what I would like to see Funko make? The early iconic PlayStation characters like Spyro, Crash Bandicoot, Ratchet & Clank, Sly Cooper (my personal favorite), and Jak & Daxter. It would make sense to make at least Ratchet and Clank and Sly Cooper due to the fact that they are going to be in their own movie this year and next.

– Malthael (diablo universe, main antagonist of the most recent expansion)
– Jaina (warcraft universe)
Given the recent popularity of Blizzard’s game Heroes of the Storm, I think characters like these could be a success. I personally hold Malfurion as a big all time favorite, who would fit very well in your stock since his brother (Illidan) is already available!

five nights at freddys! This line would be a great small line for the horror/game genre! Freddy fazbear, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy would be regular pops (not exclusive,chase etc.) but golden Freddy (being a character that’s rareto encounter in the game) could be a special metallic/glow in the dark hot topic exclusive or just a exclusive(doesn’t really matter what store) A possible Five nights at freddys 2 line could be made after if this actually works. I think that a five nights at freddys line would be great! Freddy, Bonnie, chica, and foxy can be a normal pop (not exclusive) but golden freddy could be a metallic hot topic exclusive (or whichever store by choice). My friend helped me out with this idea

Why are the Mass Effect ones so lame? Garrus and Tali, awesome. But, you’ve missed out most of the main characters! Only having Male Shep isn’t acceptable, there are two Shepards available and I think there should be a female Shepard character model, too. Don’t limit your audience with gender-biased notions that male Shep is a default. Also, where is Wrex? Grunt is a far less important character than Wrex, and a Joker and Liara one wouldn’t go a miss as well as Thane. Don’t be a cop-out, guys.
I don’t think you truly know how licensing works lol. Each license holder has to approve which characters and designs are made. Then you have to counter in choices based on sales. I personally don’t play the game but then again, I don’t own Funko and make decisions. We’re a news site. lol
