A few months ago, Funko announced the Specialty Series Golden Age Batman and Batman fans (including me) were excited to place our preorders. Today, these guys started turning up in stores and another surprise was revealed.
From the picture we obviously see that we’re getting several new Batmans on two newer molds. On the “cape flowing in the wind” mold, we’re getting a new White Lantern Batman (139), Super Friends Batman (141), and the “Michael Keaton” Batman (144). The action pose mold will give us in addition to the Golden Age Batman a Earth 1 Batman (142), and Darkest Night Batman (143).
While obviously Funko makes a lot of Batman Pops, the fact that the designs keep getting better and better is exciting to me. Time to sell some of my high value blander Batmans for some of these better looking, newer Batmans!
