Today, I take a look at two of the action figures that Funko released in 2018 as part of the second series of Disney Afternoon figures. Adding to the DuckTales line is Gizmoduck, while Gadget joins Chip, Dale, & Zipper in the Chip ‘n’ Dale Rescue Rangers line.

Each action figure has limited articulation. Gizmoduck comes with a stand, and Gadget comes with her handy wrench.

I personally think that Funko is rockin’ it with these action figures. Yes, they are simple in articulation, but they remind me of a simpler time back when I was watching these cartoons growing up. Additionally, these sculpts look amazing. I know that this line of action figures haven’t been very popular as far as sales are concerned (I have seen quite a few of them on Clearance at some stores- I have actually gotten extras for friends at those prices), I hope that the line continues, at least until we can get characters like Monterrey Jack, Megvolt, Kit Cloudkicker, and Webby.

If you would like to start your Disney Afternoon action figure collection by Funko, some of Series 1 (including Baloo and Scrooge McDuck) are available over at Entertainment Earth.
