For today’s review, I take a look at the Funko trio of DuckTales action figures with Scrooge’s nephews, Huey, Dewey, & Louie. Featuring the likenesses of them from the original Disney Afternoon cartoon, it joins other characters in this Funko line of action figures like Scrooge McDuck and Launchpad. A shared exclusive between this year’s Emerald City Comic Con and Target stores here in the US, it retailed for $19.99. Let’s take a closer look.

Obviously, since these guys are triplets, and look it in this version of the cartoon, the sculpt is the same for all three of them, with the only changes in the paint applications being the color of their outfit and pupil placement of the eyes.

Aside from them being a bit wonky in sturdiness (my issue was with Louie with his feet being level), these guys are a lot of fun. Yes, they are simple in function and articulation, but that’s partially why I love this collection. The resurgence of The Disney Afternoon collectible with Funko is great, and currently the focus of my Disney collecting with Funko.

If you want to add these guys to your collection, Target still has them available as of the posting of this review.
