Today, I am going to take a closer look at the 10″ Niffler Pop! Vinyl from the Fantastic Beasts line by Funko. Exclusive to Target here in the US, this Niffle Pop! Vinyl is almost as big, if not bigger, than a Niffler is in real life… well, in the Fantastic Beasts movies at least. Let’s check it out.
In this sculpt of the Niffler, it is holding a beautiful silver pocketwatch, as it it attracted to shiny objects… and stealing them. It stuffs items it “procures” inside it’s front pouch. It looks like the watch is either being placed into or being pulled out of the pouch, based on the disappearing watch chain.
The Niffler is one of my favorite creatures from the whole of the Wizarding World that J.K. Rowling has invented. They first appeared in the book Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, but came to be widely known and loved after appearing on the big screen in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them in 2016.
While I had a couple of different Pop! Vinyl versions of the Niffler already, I decided to sell them and purchase this 10″ one, which is amazing. This looks so good on the shelf in the corner of my apartment, ready to pilfer my belongings when I am not looking.
If you want to add this piece to your collection, you might be able to find him still at your local Target store. Recently my store got a couple more in. Granted, they didn’t last long, but anything is still possible.
