Flashback Friday – Hulkbuster

Hey all! Apologies for the late post but the holidays and work have been keeping me busy. Especially going Pop hunting for gifts. Anyways welcome to Flashback Friday where I discuss pops from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Anything pop related to the MCU is up for discussion including films and television series. Let’s jump right in with this week’s discussion. Hulkbuster from the Avengers: Infinity War set is this week’s featured MCU Pop.

Avengers: Infinity War. What is there to say? It was as epic a scope as you could expect with countless lives on the line. Our heroes were up against their toughest test yet and it was such a fantastic piece of cinema. There were parts where I had the biggest smile on my face and other parts where tears were streaming down my face. It’s one heck of a way to end a part one of a two part saga. This brings us to the Hulkbuster Pop. For anyone who’s seen the movie, the Hulk gets completely destroyed and it’s something we aren’t used to seeing. So when it’s time for the final battle Bruce ends up using Tony’s Hulkbuster suit to fight the army of Thanos. Bruce puts up a valiant effort against the army and it’s understandable why he’s having issues with Hulk.

Hulkbuster was released in 2018 and was available for purchase wherever Pops were sold. Because of the wide availability and the 2018 release it hasn’t really shot up in value. It’s currently sitting around its retail value at $15.00. I haven’t seen any Hulkbuster recently in stores so you’ll definitely want to check online store sites as well as Amazon and eBay. If you’re a fan of the Hulkbuster this is a must have for your collection. Pick it up while the price is reasonable. There’s another Hulkbuster within the Avengers: Infinity War set that’s a little controversial but I’ll deal with that another time. Check out the trivia below and I’ll catch you down the road.
