For today’s review, I take a look at the Splash Mountain Pop! Ride from Funko. A Disney Parks exclusive released this summer, it features Song of the South‘s Brer Rabbit and Brer Bear riding one of the log flume vehicles from the Splash Mountain ride at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World.

Splash Mountain holds a very special place in my heart as far as Disney rides go. I remember being at The Magic Kingdom at rope drop and “running” to ride this ride (the new kid on the block at the time) with my brother and grandfather. It was (and still is) such a fun ride. I personally prefer how the Walt Disney World version of the ride looks and is laid out, but was happily surprised that the Disneyland version gets you much wetter.

Unlike some other Pop! Rides, Brer Rabbit and Brer Bear are not removable from the vehicle. Additionally, now that we have these two guys, I would love to see a Brer Fox being made.

Overall, this is am awesome addition to the Disney Parks line of Funko collectibles. Funko has really been hitting them out of the park as of recent. Can’t wait to see what more fun characters and attractions we get from the parks next year.
