In one of the aspects of my personality that normally shocks people is that I’ve hated Winnie the Pooh my entire life. Almost as shocking to my family is that I want to see the movie Christopher Robin. Maybe it’s the tone of the movie. Maybe Ewan McGregor and I are similar in age and being an adult who forgets his childhood is something I can resonate with. No matter, the movie had me at the first trailer. Now Funko has also pulled me in with these amazing designs.
So far we have the main trio of Tigger, Eeyore and of course, Winnie the Pooh. I’m hoping we’ll add the rest of the gang in a later wave. But if you wanted to gauge popularity, these are the three you would want to start with.
In addition, Box Lunch is getting an exclusive with a Flocked Winnie the Pooh with a red balloon.
I love that the flocked Pooh doesn’t have the same design as the common one with only a balloon added. That’s a nice touch that Funko collectors will like.
