Pop! Review: A Goofy Movie’s Powerline (Hot Topic Exclusive)

For today’s review, I take a look at the Hot Topic Exclusive release of one of the popular characters from a childhood favorite of mine, A Goofy Movie. Featured in his signature costume from his stage show (minus the sunglasses), here is Powerline!

Personally, I would have loved to have seen him with his sunglasses on, but knowing Funko, that will end up being a convention exclusive or something, because Funko is like that.

I really hope that this is the beginning of a full A Goofy Movie / Goof Troop line of Pop! Vinyls. Just like the DuckTales line, I will track down every single one of them… and you know that the line, if it comes to store shelves, will have exclusives galore…. Who’s your favorite possum!

I was able to get him, and yeah, he is awesome. 🙂 And I too am hoping for a full line of Goofy Movie/ Goof Troop Pops. Please make them, Funko. 🙂

I’ve got him, used him in the goofy movie photo opp at the fanboy expo in Knoxville, TN last weekend! Jason Marsden held him 🙂 I’d love to see more goofy movie pops! I just want goofy, max, and roxanne

I’ve got him! I love that movie! Let’s see…. POP! ideas….. Goofy in waiters doing the “perfect cast”, POP! Ride of Pete in his RV, 2 POP! pack of Lester costume and the broken down animatronic opossum with the banjo, chase of Lester costume with the head backwards (after Max punches him and says ‘beat it doofus!’), Max, chase of Max as Powerline, Roxanne, POP! Scene of PJ holding the rope attached to Max as Powerline, chase glow of Powerline WITH glasses, 10” exclusive of the electric orb with the big Powerline backup singer lady complete with electric bolts (reference Rocket Raccoon with the flames), 10” exclusive of a literal “leaning tower of cheese-a”, and OF COURSE Big Foot complete with headphones and Walkman. And so much more! I mean, why hasn’t Funko called me yet?!
