I recently picked up this awesome 2-pack of Pops based on the legendary penultimate episode from season 6 of Game of Thrones. Depicting Jon Snow facing off against all-around pleasant guy Ramsay Bolton, it’s a great addition to the collection of any GoT fan.
The poses of both figures are perfect, and while it’s hard to tell from the photo above, Jon is leaning forward with his knees bent as if walking forward. Also not visible in the picture are discolored yellowish rings around Ramsay’s eyes, which really help give him the look of derangement his character captured so well. As has become standard for almost all Funko figures, the detailing in the costumes is very precise and impressive as well. My only real issue with this product is that I wish Ramsay were on the left and Jon on the right, as opposed to the other way around. That way it would look like Ramsay is actually aiming his bow at Jon and Jon is moving towards him, rather than both figures facing straight forward. It’s obviously possible to make this set-up if you take the figures out the box, but I know a lot of people like to stack more items on top of large 2-pack boxes. Other than this one logistical flaw, however, this is an excellently designed set of figures and a great way to tide yourself over until season 8 arrives in 2019 (uuuggghhhh).
