Flashback Friday – Taserface

Welcome to Flashback Friday where I discuss pops from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Anything pop related to the MCU is up for discussion including films and television series. Let’s jump right in with this week’s discussion. Taserface from the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 set is this week’s featured MCU Pop.

Discussion: Taserface was introduced in 2017s Guardians of the Galaxy sequel Vol 2. I’ve never heard of Taserface prior to the release of the film and from what I can tell he doesn’t have a huge role in any comic book storyline. He was a member of The Ravagers under Yondu Udonta throughout the beginning of the film and then later turns on Yondu and takes charge of The Ravagers. With the help of Rocket and Baby Groot, Yondu eventually got the better of Taserface and ended up defeating him and the rebel Ravagers. I never did add him to my collection because I didn’t really connect with his character but as right now if I decide to it should be relatively easy.

Taserface should be pretty easy to come by until it becomes vaulted. It was released last year and I’ve seen it as of a couple of months ago at Barnes and Noble. If you’re unable to find it in stores you can easily find it on Amazon, eBay, and our Facebook group. Our group allows you to buy, sell, trade and communicate with thousands of Funko fans from around the world. You should be able to pick it up for retail value. Anything over $15.00 means you’re paying too much.
