For today’s Pop! Review, I wanted to take a look at one of the Spring Convention (aka ECCC) Exclusives: Amy Pond. Featuring Amy dressed up as a Policewoman from the hit BBC seriesĀ Doctor Who, this is actually the first version of Amy Pond that we have gotten, even though images of her regular release figure have been on the back of a few Pop! boxes (this one included). This Spring Convention Exclusive was available at Hot Topic stores (eventually) and at Hot Topic’s website. Let’s take a closer look.

There really isn’t anything special or exciting about this sculpt… except that it is of Amy Pond! She is one of my favoriteĀ Doctor Who companions from the new series, and I have always been bummed that she was yet to be released in Pop! form. Very excited that she is part of my collection now.

If you want to add Amy to your collection, she is still available over at Hot Topic’s website (at the time of this publication, at least). If you want her, go grab her.

  1. FINALLY! I’m actually holding out for the standard Amy Pond figure instead of this exclusive because I think the other outfit is cuter, but I’m glad that she finally has a POP out there for purchase. I was totally miffed that Rory got a figure first last year when Amy is hands down a more important character in the Who canon.
