Series 5 of Harry Potter should be hitting stores later this year and in that series a ghost makes its debut!
First we’ll get the standard Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger releases. This time they’ll have a “Herbology” theme to them. Maybe they’ll pot some Mandrakes?
Next, we’ll get another Ginny Weasley. This time it will be withTom Riddle’s journal. Speaking of Tom Riddle, he’s getting his own Pop in this series as well!
This series definitely has a Chamber of Secrets vibe to it and Gilderoy Lockhart continues that. In addition he’ll have a chase version. What do you think the chase will be?
And lastly, the Pop I’m most interested in…Nearly Headless Nick. Now how will Funko make him nearly headless? Will he have a spring in his head? If not, how? And of course I hope he’s a bit transparent!
What other characters are you excited to add to your Harry Potter collection?
Funko seem to have gone into Ginny overdrive. I can understand there being so many Harry/Ron/Hermione Pops (they’re the main characters!), but this will be the fourth Ginny in fairly quick succession (#46, 50, 53 and whatever this one will be – still in the 50s/early 60s, I’d assume).
I’ll definitely be getting Lockhart and Nick – the others are “probably”s, so I’ll wait to see what they’re like first!
