One of the most exciting visits I had at Toy Fair last month was with DC Collectibles. I have been visiting with the team at the booth for the past few years, mainly at the request of you, our readers. Even though there wasn’t any “vinyl” type items at the booth, you guys wanted to see their upcoming releases of action figures, statues, prop items, and more… all of which have been amazing.

This year, however, the DC Collectibles were excited to be showcasing for their visitors their line of DC Artists Alley line of vinyl collectibles. Limited run lines of three vinyl collections so amazing artists (with variants), they are becoming very popular. In fact, the first line, by artist Chris Uminga, has sold out on pre-orders already. It is expected that the other lines, by artists Sho Murase and HaiNaNu “Nooligan” Saulque, will follow suit. Let’s check them out.

Each release will come displayed in packaging that can open up to reveal a display window. The figure will also contain an artist’s card showcasing the concept art that the figure was based on, as well as a black artist’s card so fans who meet these amazing DC Comics artists at conventions can get a sketch done by them.

These were not the only “vinyl” based items on display at the DC Collectibles booth. Also coming out are a new line of DC Core PVC Statues. The detail in them are amazing.

Now, this is not to say that DC Collectibles didn’t have amazing action figures, resin statues, and more on display. Check them out.

However, my personal favorite item that was on display at the DC Collectibles booth was this Joker bust sculpted by legendary creature artist Rick Baker. Check it out.

I would love to see more work from Rick Baker in the future.

When I finished my tour of the booth, DC Collectibles gifted to me a special edition of the Chris Uminga Batman vinyl. I am excited to be reviewing it soon for the website.

If you would like to pre-order these amazing items from DC Collectibles, and shop their already in stock items, visit our friends over at Entertainment Earth.
