When Funko let it be known that a 2nd wave of Monster’s Inc Pop’s were coming, I was definitely excited. Despite not adding another Mike Wazowksi (and I have a theory), this next release is about perfect. Let’s check them out.
First and foremost, Roz is a must have and definitely the highlight for me. The Chef had a small part but he’s a great looking character so this one will be quite popular. Last we get a much nicer sculpted Sulley and Boo. We’ve gotten these before but these are much better designed. Also look for a Flocked Sulley this April at Toy R Us.
Now where is Mike Wazowski? Well, my theory is that they needed a major character for a potential Wave 3. Just imagine a Mike Wazowski, Celia, and two other minor characters. This would also leave us with Randal and Henry Waternoose for a Wave 4. What would you think about that?
