“So no one told you life was gonna be this way…”
I will admit, when I was at Toy Fair 2015 and I flipped thru the catalog to find that there was concept art for an upcoming Friends series of Pop! Vinyls, I let out a couple of excited audibles that cannot be recreated here. Friends was one of my all time favorite shows growing up. I have all ten seasons on DVD, as well as the ill-fated Joey spinoff. I grew up with these characters, and look forward to adding these Pop! Vinyls to my collection.
Today, our friends over at Entertainment Weekly released a first look at the glam shots for this new series. Let’s take a look.
I personally love how each one of them has a “prop”, so to speak, which signifies them. It’s great seeing Marcel clinging to Ross’ leg, Phoebe playing the guitar (hopefully a rendition of “Smelly Cat”), Monica in her chef attire, Joey and Chandler with Chick and Duck, and Rachel carrying the famous Central Perk mug.
Too much to ask for a Pop! Ride of the couch, perhaps with Gunther? Hahahahaha…
