This week’s POP is the mountain, the forest, and the earth. Created by John Scott Jr. of ZOM Customs, El Fauno has awoken in POP form to the tune of Scott’s sculpting prowess. His lithe, tree-like form, curled horns, and glowing eyes look set to clamber up from the dark depths of the labyrinth.
Inspired by seeing what fellow customizer’s were able to create with these vinyl figures, Scott thought he’d give customs a go himself. Guillermo del Toro’s “Pan’s Labyrinth” seemed an obvious choice given Scott’s love of the film, and, with super sculpey and paint in hand, he set to work bringing this sinuous figure to life from the ridges on the horns to the swirled imprints on his forehead.
Complete with stand, this mossy Faun beckons you to join him, your most humble servant, in the labyrinth.
