So you have started collecting, or have been collecting TITAN vinyls for a while now and you are trying to figure out what is the best way to keep track of all your figures and how to display them proudly. There are a number of sites and products out there to help you maintain your collection and keep track of Titan Merchandise’s ever expanding lines!

Inventory

The Doctor Who Site provides a check list of Doctor Who figures from each series and convention exclusives. If you are looking for a specific figure as well, they provide links to Forbidden Planet, Entertainment Earth, eBay and the BBC Shop for you to round out your collection. This site is also accessible on a mobile device, so, if you find yourself out in a store and can’t recall if you have a wooden Cyberman or not, you can simply check!

While they do not have check lists for other Titan Merchandise lines, I would not be surprised to see additional lists for Buffy, Alien, Breaking Bad, Dragon Age and future lines added soon.

Display

After getting your collection started, you need a way to store and display these figures! Found in parts of the US, The Container Store offers a great multi-level display box that many collectors, including myself, use. One of the great features of these display boxes is not only are they stackable, but they come with a tier system that allows you to set different heights.

If you store your figures in your private study and want to class them up a bit, Michaels sells a shot glass display case that is able to fit most figures and has a nice glass door to make sure that dust stays off of your figures. Similarly, Amazon carries a 144 shot glass display case that can pretty much hold every figure TITANS has released to date!

The most important thing to remember when it comes to your vinyl collection is that you want to prevent heat, sunlight and moisture from getting to your figures. Heat and sunlight can easily destroy the paint quality and vinyl material of your figures while humidity can cause mildew or mold to grow and affect the paint as well.

Overall, you want to show off your TITANS collection with pride! For those who are the “DIY” type, get creative and make your own display case. Who knows?! Maybe other collectors will see what you made and commission you for one as well!

Recently becoming a fan of blind boxes, combined with my love of Doctor Who, I am excited to share my love of vinyl figures with the world.
