HT Exclusive Anna from the Frozen Mystery Minis series. Well, if you’re a fan of Frozen like myself then I shouldn’t even have to tell you what the inspiration for this picture was. For a couple of weeks I was taking shots of my Frozen mystery minis and this was one of the last ones I created. It should be, or what I was going for anyway, was a direct recreation of the scene in the movie when both Anna and Elsa are singing “For the First Time in Forever.” This variant of Anna can only be found by purchasing Frozen mystery minis from Hot Topic as she is one of the three exclusives. Now for some odd reason I wanna stuff some chocolate in my face…. crickets? Let’s move on!
“Going for a quick dip to release the demons.”
Leviathan Castiel (#95) from the Pop! Television line Hot Topic Exclusive (of course he is). Just like Anna up there I wanted to recreate the scene in Supernatural which this Pop is based off of. Spoiler alert…our beloved angel Cas is possessed by the demons Leviathan after absorbing all the souls from purgatory. When the body, or vessel, can no longer contain them and Castiel it starts to break down on the verge of explosion so the Leviathan take control of Castiel and lead him to the public water supply where they then explode from his body and get into the drinking water (Yuck.) to possess other people thus creating the events for that season of Supernatural. No, your eyes are not playing a trick on you. That is in fact just the standard Castiel released already with a repaint to give him that Leviathan look. “In SUMMERRRRRRRRRR”
Summer Olaf (#120) from the Pop! Disney line. Summer Olaf comes to us in the second wave of the Frozen craze! Taken from his musical number where he can’t wait for the snow to wash away and the summer sun to shine down upon him. This picture was actually created accidentally. I originally took an Ace Ventura Pop outside with Michonne’s Pets from the Walking Dead to create a cross over photo and I noticed the sun was shining rather brightly behind them. So I’m a smart fella and not being one to let an opportunity pass me by I quickly rushed in the house and busted Summer Olaf out to try to get the sun perfectly behind him.
