My name is LJ and I’m a toy addict! Like most of you I am addicted to Funko Pops and other Funko stuff. As I have been stocking up on some really cool pops, I have noticed that there are a lot of custom artists hitting the custom scene. I have been looking at customs for hours now making myself dizzy from looking at the screen so much. With so many amazing custom pieces out there how can one choose? I still hadn’t come across one that really spoke to me to write about. (Please guys don’t kill me!) Until I came across these pieces…
My mouth hit the floor when I saw these sweet pieces from custom artist Taylor O’Connor The detail on these customs really makes them stand out. I feel like Anti-Venom and Carnage have jumped off the page and right onto these DIY Funko Pop’s! I asked Taylor what he used to do these pieces and he told me it was all paint no markers. He started painting on Hasbro Mighty Muggs and has been painting for the past 8 years. Taylor is fairly new to the Funko custom scene, but his work will soon put him up there with the greats.
