PopVinyls.com was founded in 2012 by Matt Norris, owner of VinylmationKingdom.com and founder of DisKingdom.com after his love of Funko products began to compete with his love of Vinylmations. In 2013, Pop Vinyls began to occasionally  expand its coverage beyond the world of Funko into other lines. 2014 brought forth the announcement that Pop Vinyls would cover all popular toys in the market. The continued goal of Pop Vinyls is to provide reliable and consistent news to the collecting community.
