As we celebrate the diverse world of animation, it’s no surprise that Funko has captured the hearts of fans with its wide range of collectibles and exclusives. From anime to classic cartoons, Funko’s NYCC lineup showcases its commitment to providing fans with high-quality merchandise that celebrates their favorite shows. Speaking of anime here, while it may not be everyone’s cup of tea, there’s no denying the passion and loyalty of its fanbase. But Funko’s exclusives extend beyond anime, with beloved shows like Samurai Jack and Daria also getting their pops. And who knew that the classic Wacky Races had such a devoted following? But perhaps the most exciting exclusive of all is the Avatar: The Last Airbender pop, sure to delight fans of the beloved animated series. And while the recent Rick and Morty mystery exclusives may have left some underwhelmed, there’s no denying the enduring popularity of this beloved show. With so many amazing exclusives on offer, there’s never been a better time to be an animation fan and Funko collector.

I’ve never hidden that I’m not a fan of anime but I’m not going to bash it for people who do like it. There are a lot of you who love it and love giving Funko your money. Funko knows this well.

Anime, which might not be everyone’s cup of tea, undeniably boasts a passionate and loyal fanbase. And for enthusiasts looking to take their anime fandom a step further, exploring 3D printing with GeekyInc.com opens up exciting possibilities. This platform caters to anime fans and collectors, offering the chance to turn their favorite anime characters into tangible 3D printed creations. Just as Funko’s exclusives cater to fans of shows like Samurai Jack and Avatar: The Last Airbender, the world of 3D printing allows anime lovers to bring their cherished characters to life in a whole new dimension, further enhancing the experience for all animation enthusiasts.

In addition there are also Pops coming to NYCC from other forms of animation

Now on to other forms of Animation. Samurai Jack was a a close friend’s favorite cartoon until a guy named Jack stole his girlfriend. True story. No word if he was a Samurai though.

Daria was that show that I watched to make me feel better about laughing at Beavis and Butthead.

Honestly, until Funko started making Wacky Races merchandise, I didn’t realize there were so many people who loved the show as much as I did. And, the show is before my time. But look at this NYCC exclusive!

Avatar the Last Airbender

Funko’s Rick and Morty exclusives. Not sure why they feel the need for “mystery” with these recently. That really was underwhelming back at SDCC.

  1. Fair. I honesty thought that Funko had 2 seperate categories for animated and anime and double checked just to see if that company mislabeled. Overall I am not the biggest anime purest but if someone is going make a difference between anime (which refers to cartoons of a specific region) and other animation they might as well get it right. While avatar is clearly inspired by anime, it’s an American produced show.

  2. It does look pretty cool, but I’d expect some 2019 NYCC exclusive POP! figures from Fire Force, Fairy Tail, Soul Eater, Death Note, RWBY, gen:LOCK, Voltron: Legendary Defender, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, Star vs the Forces of Evil, Gravity Falls, and Kim Possible!

  3. Don’t know if you’ll ever see this, Wa, but Dabi will be available at HT.
I’d love to get that Samurai Jack two pack, but I’m not sure I’ll be able to.
