Today, I want to take a look at the Earth Day release of Eve from Funko. Last year, Funko and Box Lunch collaborated with an Earth Day version of Wall-E from the Pixar movie of the same name. This special Pop! Vinyl release was made from recycled material with parts recyclable as well. This year, Funko and Box Lunch added Eve to the mix. Let’s check her out.
Similar to Wall-E, this version of Eve holds the boot containing the living plant that was found on the desolate, future version of Earth… this boot throws the two of them into a whirlwind adventure in outer space.
Last year on Earth Day, I was at the 20th Anniversary of Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Walt Disney World. There, I was able to bring Wall-E with me to get some pictures in front of the park’s icon, the Tree of Life. I hope that the next time I get to go to Walt Disney World, I remember to bring Eve along with me.
Sadly, Eve is sold out on the Box Lunch website, though if you are lucky you might still be able to find her in store. She was popular, as with Wall-E, so most stores are probably out of her by now.
