This year for the holidays, I celebrated the countdown to Christmas with two Advent Calendars. I’m recapping the Freddy Funko Pint Size Heroes 2017 Advent Calendarhere, and over at DisKingdom.com I check out the Lego Star Wars 2017 Advent Calendar. For this Freddy Funko Pint Size Heroes calendar, each day featured a different Freddy Funko PSH decked out for the holidays. Let’s check them out.
A couple of days during the month I got to take the Freddys outside for some fun. Here are two of my favorites: Snow Day Freddy enjoying the newly fallen white stuff, and the Caroling Freddys enjoying a night at Rockefeller Center in NYC.
Did you pick up any of this year’s Advent Calendars? If so, what are your thoughts on it? Let me know in the comments below.
Living in the NYC area, Travis has grown up loving a multitude of things, from Disney to Broadway to the fine arts... and beyond. You can find him rambling on from time to time on PopVinyls.com, DisKingdom, and VinylmationKingdom.com as Feature Editor. He also runs the Vinylmation Kingdom Custom Swaps and is the Press Reporter for such events like the NY Toy Fair and New York Comic Con. Additionally, he is also an amateur puppeteer, avid movie goer, and carries his camera around wherever he goes.

HA! I had two advent calendars this year too! This one and the Lego City. Freddy is adorable. Some of these guys are “generic” enough to stay out all year (gold, silver & gold, frozen). Those with a hat like Pajama Freddy have challenges with their center of gravity. ARGH! Some of my favorites: In the Box, Gingerbread, Ugly Sweater, and Snowman. If Funko does this again, so will I.
The gravity situation with a few of these were issues, I agree. Overall a fun collection and I would be on board for another year as well.
