One of the many great things about Funko is how it truly loves its collectors. The Freddy FunKlub is one example of how they appeal to the hardcore fans. For years, you could send a letter to Funko and join the FunKlub and get a Freddy Pop plus a few other things.  Freddy, if you do not know, is the “mascot” of Funko. Funko’s Tony the Tiger if you will.  For many special events like SDCC, Funko will make a Freddy Pop that while pretty cool, is hard to attain if you aren’t at Fundays or other special event.  The FunKlub Freddy was a way for everybody to get their own.

Recently, the Freddy FunKlub Kit was redesigned and went on sale at Funko-Shop, the official Funko store.  I quickly placed my order and from the photos below, you can decide if you would be as pleased as I was.

Within a week of placing my order, this box showed up at my house. It’s box slightly larger than a Pop but of the same quality you would get from the Marvel Collector Corps or other Funko subscription boxes.

Inside the box the first thing you will see is a Freddy member pin.

You’ll also receive a membership card with a number on the back. Hopefully we’ll be able to use these in the future for some exclusives!

To compare size, here is the card and pin. Card is roughly the size of a business card and it can also clip on a lanyard.

Speaking of lanyards, this is a great one. I’ll use this one at work. It’s long enough to not seemingly choke you when you wear it and the clasp seems very sturdy.

As usual, the Pop is what excites most people. If you collect Freddy, you’ll want to add this one to your collection.

A look at the Freddy out of the box (He needs to breathe!)

Personally, I was very pleased with everything and glad to add this Freddy to my collection.
