The day the Marvel Collector Corps was announced, I immediately signed up for the Founders Club. It wasn’t until the next day that I noticed you also get a reward for paying for your yearly subscription up front. We’ve known for a long time it would be a Captain America statue and I must admit that I wasn’t really excited about it. I didn’t sign up for the yearly subscription for the reward. It was a nice plus by Funko though.

Today, I received my reward and I admit I was wrong about it.

It comes in a box similar to the quality of a Hikari and for people who like to keep all their Funko goodies in boxes, you’ll be happy. For me, I like to let my stuff breathe so here’s a look at it out of the box.

First, I must say this isn’t light. It has the feel of a sports trophy you’d get as a kid. I consider this my “Congrats, You’re a Geek” award.  I’m not certain if I’ll brag about to my kids or anything, but I do appreciate that Funko didn’t really cheap out on this. I was expecting this to be small but it’s about a bit taller than a 6″ pop.  If you haven’t got your Founder’s award yet, you should be getting it this week hopefully.
