For today’s review, I check out one of the pieces released by Bandai Tamashii Nations under their Figuarts ZERO line, and in celebration of Mickey Mouse’s 90th Birthday. Released in 2018, I got a close up look at these pieces at New York Comic Con that year. This past fall, I found one of the figures on clearance at Barnes and Noble. The box was beat up, but that didn’t matter to me. I planned on displaying it in my apartment. Let’s take a look at Modern Mickey Mouse.

This figure is more like a small statue, as it has no articulation. The figure can stand on its’ own, but also comes with a display base.

I really like the sculpt of this piece, and that all of the pieces in the line, though depicting different versions of Mickey Mouse, are all standing the same way. While I doubt I will pick up any of the other pieces (mainly because of space issues), if I find one on sale or clearance, I probably will pick it up. Great product by Bandai Tamashii Nations.
