For today’s review, I take a look at a figure from a line of collectibles that I first came across earlier this year at Toy Fair. Created by the team over at The Coop, these vinyl figures are designed, sculpted, and painted to made to look like knit toys. One of the releases in this new line is a cute rendition of Slimer from The Ghostbusters. Let’s take a look.
I really love the cute sculpting to make it look like Slimer is hand-stitched, and there is a nice added touch of the soft vinyl plush tag. A cute detail is the Inspected stamp on the bottom.
The Handmade by Robots line include pieces from Ghostbusters, Star Trek, NASA, Borderlands, and more. You can find them readily available online at various retailers. I have a couple more of these to check out in the upcoming weeks, so stay tuned!
