Today, I take a look at a beautiful piece released back in October over in Downtown Disney at the Disneyland Resort. Designed by artist Scott Tolleson for the Wonderland Gallery, and to celebrate the 65th Anniversary of the opening of Disneyland, here is the Mr. Toad Vinyl Figure.

Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, a dark ride where guests hop in one of Mr. Toad’s cars and rides through various scenes from the movie, was an opening day attraction when Disneyland opened in 1955. Through all of the changes, additions, and technological upgrades to the park over the years, this fan favorite ride and character still stands strong in Fantasyland. I was not happy when the version of the ride in Walt Disney World was closed to make way for a Winnie-the-Pooh themed attraction, but happy that the Disneyland version still exists.

This vinyl figure, with shoulder and neck articulation, stands just short of 7″ tall.

Since this piece was only released over in California back in October, I am happy that my friend Becky, who was going to the release event, was able to pick this piece up for me. Mr. Toad is one of my favorite Disney characters ever, so this piece was a must have for me.

To those who would love to add this piece to their collection, there is some great news. This piece has recently been released on the shopDisney website, and is still available at the time of this post. You can pick him up here.
