For today’s review, I take a look at one of the newest collections by the team over at Playmobil. Celebrating one of my favorite movie franchises growing up, here is the Back to the Future Collection, coming this summer.

Before I take a look at the DeLorean Play Set, here is a closer look at the special 1955 Edition of Marty McFly and Doc Brown from the first movie.

Marty comes dressed in his tux and with the guitar that he played at the “Enchantment Under the Sea” dance. Doc Brown is dressed to take on the Clock Tower on that fateful stormy night, and comes with the “”Save the Clock Tower” flyer that Marty brought from 1985.

Now here is the DeLorean Time Machine Play Set.

This set comes with a buildable DeLorean, Marty, Doc Brown, and Einstein.

This was a pretty easy but fun build. There were quite a few sticker placements on the vehicle and some of the accessories. These accessories include a case of Plutonium, Marty’s skateboard, a camcorder, and Doc Brown’s testing equipment.

The DeLorean Time Machine not only comes equipped with the items needed to time travel in the first movie, but can also retract it’s wheels to “fly” , featured at the end of the first movie and intot he second movie.

This vehicle lights up beautifully in the dark.

This is a really fun collection, and would be a great addition to any pop culture collection. As per usual, Playmobil put great care into these products, and the quality is very high. I will certainly be displaying these pieces in my apartment. Thank you to the team over at Playmobil for sending these over for me to review.
