Funko Fundays – the celebration for fans of all things Funko – is tonight during all the San Diego Comic-Con hullabaloo. The event is at the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego but don’t run over there. Tickets have been sold out for weeks. This year has a Tiki theme!
Attendees can hang out with fellow Funatics, learn about Funko’s upcoming releases, as well as enjoy food, drinks (each attendee receives two drink tickets), and a chance to try to win more prizes, including one-of-a-kind prototypes. There will be games, contests, cans of corn (we don’t know either), and more. Best of all, no attendee leaves empty handed, as Funko gives a mystery Box O’ Fun to each attendee, which in the past has featured three Funko Pop!s exclusive to the event.
For people NOT attending there was a “Box o Fun” you could buy online as well so stayed tuned to our Twitter @PopVInyls for that information. (EDIT: SOLD OUT). In addition, expect Funko head honcho Brian Mariotti to reveal images and news about upcoming Funko licenses and releases. So bookmark this post and we will update it all night with info!
