For today’s review, I take a look at the more recent Sulley Pop! Vinyl from the Monsters Inc. franchise. This is the third release of a Sulley Pop! Vinyl, following the original Sulley release in 2011 and the Monsters University version in 2013. This sculpt features Sulley waving, presumably good-bye to Boo right before her door is destroyed. Let’s take a closer look.
Sulley, voiced by John Goodman in the movies, has always been one of my all-time favorite Pixar character. When Funko started doing more intricate sculpts for their characters, I was hoping that they would give Sulley a makeover in Pop! form. Thankfully they did, and I love how he looks.
While I originally planned on getting all of the releases in this new wave (Roz especially looks great), I have been paring down my Pop! collection so I only decided to get Sulley at this time, and I am glad I did. Perhaps I will get the other three in the future… or maybe as Christmas gifts. I guess time will tell.
