The day has finally come for us to get our own place. We’re talking about a home built by collectors for collectors where we can buy and sell without the usual expensive eBay fees or the uncertainty of Facebook. A safe and easy place where we can feel comfortable and protected when buying and selling our collections.
Well folks, the search is over. In partnership with the collectors at hobbyDB, we’re excited to introduce the new PopVinyls marketplace – a new place to buy and sell all things Funko.
Whether you like them flocked, metallic, exclusive, or wacky & wobbly, the PopVinyls marketplace already has more than 20,000 items for sale, so you’re sure to find something that fits your collection.
What makes this marketplace different from eBay, Facebook, etc?
For the past three years, the hobbyDB team has been working on creating a marketplace specifically for collectors. Powered by a database of every Funko product ever made (already 14,691 and counting!), it’s super simple to find your item and list it for sale in under 30 seconds.
As far as fees go, we know how annoying it can be to pay a fee to just list something for sale. On the PopVinyls marketplace, you can list any item for free. We only charge a 7% fee once your item has been sold and it’s capped at $100 for any purchase. Besides the fee PayPal charges, there are absolutely no other fees.
We also take extra steps in our process to make sure our buyers and sellers are protected –
- To help protect sellers, we collect money from the buyer upon purchase, so we know they can’t flake later on down the road.
- To help protect buyers, we ensure you will get your item and are happy with it before we pay our sellers. When you pay for your order, your money is collected and held in escrow. This way, if you are unhappy with your order, or a seller does not deliver, you will receive a refund.

With more than 20,000 Funko items already listed for sale, you’re destined to find the perfect item to add to your collection. Once you track down that special item, you can pay with your PayPal account or with a credit or debit card. We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover. No matter what method of payment you use, all our payments are processed through PayPal, which means you will have the extra PayPal protection guarantee. We encourage our sellers to ship within 2-5 business days. As soon as the seller ships the item and updates their tracking, you will automatically get an email that shows the shipping carrier and tracking number so you can keep an eye on your order.

Whether you’re looking to sell your entire collection, or just pieces, it’s super simple to list your items for sale.
Buy it Now – Know the price that you absolutely have to get in order to sell that item? Buy it Now pricing is perfect for you. Simply set your price, upload some photos, add a description and list!
Best Offer – Invite customers to negotiate with you! If you’re not quite sure what your item is worth, or if you are open to discussing pricing with potential buyers, Best Offer is right for you. Buy it Now & Best Offer – On the listing form, you’ll be able to select both “Buy it Now” and “Best Offer” pricing if you want to give your buyers a ballpark price for what you’re looking for.
Sell your lots – Want to keep the four Dinos together or looking to get out of the hobby? Now you can sell your entire collection in a lot with our new feature that allows you to freeform list!
In order to list your items for sale, you will need to have a free hobbyDB account. Easily list in less than 30 seconds with the hobbyDB free form selling tool. Once you make a sale, it’s a super simple process from purchase to payday. Package up that item with love and enter your tracking number into your seller dashboard once shipped. We pay every Wednesday for all items which have been delivered since the last pay-day. We have dedicated Jedi who are here to ensure all transactions and interactions between buyers and sellers are easy as pie.
