For today’s review, I take a look at one of the recent Target Friday exclusive releases from Funko. One of the exclusives released last month on Target’s website, Gizmoduck coming out in Pop! form brings a fan favorite character to the Disney’s DuckTales Collection. Let’s check him out.
A mild mannered accountant, Fenton Crackshell becomes superhero Gizmoduck by donning a special security suit developed by Gyro Gearloose. Throughout the DuckTales universe, Gizmoduck helps those in need, and that even includes crossing over from time to time to the Darkwing Duck series, partnering with the title character in fighting crime.
I love the look and sculpt of this Pop! Vinyl, which shows Gizmoduck in his iconic stance. in order for him to properly stand (given that he is perched on a single tire), he does come with a stand. He is a perfect addition to my DuckTales and Disney Pop! collection, and he was one of my favorite characters growing up and watching the show. Well done, Funko.

My only problem with this pop was that they flattened the tire on the bottom. If they were gonna go with the stand they could have just made the peg longer and left the tire round but this is me nitpicking. This pop really is awesome. Kinda hope they do a glossy version so everything really (and I’m not sorry about this) PoPs!
