Today, let’s take an out of the box look at one of my favorite Star Wars Pop! Vinyls to have been released so far… a version of one of the many standout characters in The Force Awakens: the fan-favorite droid BB-8.
Based on the moment in the film where BB-8 gives Finn a “thumbs up”, this Pop! Vinyl recreates that lovable droid with his outstretched lighter/ welder, all lit up and ready to go.
I initially passed on the regular BB-8 Pop! Vinyl in hopes that this version would be released. Thankfully, this version was released as a SDCC/ Hot Topic shared exclusive, so he wasn’t hard to come by. Now, BB-8 is hanging out on my desk at work, properly with my “Freddy Says Relax” Freddy. Perfect pairing, imho.
