As some of you might know, it’s been quite a scorcher here in the Northeast. To be honest, doing anything outside has been a task in the heat, including getting the mail. However, when you open up the mailbox and your current Loot Crate is there, you hope it was worth the effort to go out there. Let’s take a look at this month’s “Futuristic” crate.
1.Loot Crate Exclusive “Planet Express” Ship Q-Fig
A Loot Crate exclusive, this awesome Q-Fig happily replicates the name ship from the popular Futurama animated series. I like how the figure is mounted to the display base using a magnet, allowing it to be removed easily to be flown around by a child… or you when you are bored at work and it’s sitting on your desk. I am looking forward to more of this line of Q-figs.
2. Loot Crate Exclusive Rick and Morty T-Shirt
This study of Rick’s Portal Gun makes for a very fun t-shirt design. While not my personal cup of tee, I do like the design and know a lot of friends who are fans of the TV series. Also included in this month’s mini magazine includes a coloring page from the show.
3. Loot Crate Exclusive 3″ Mega Man Red Variant Mini
From the popular Mega Man line of mini figures, this Loot Crate exclusive red variant figure is pretty sweet.
4. Loot Crate Exclusive 4001 AD #1 Comic Variant Cover
I will be honest, I have no idea what 4001 AD is about, but the artwork is pretty neat.
5. Loot Crate Exclusive Star Trek Enterprise Dedication Plaque Replica Decal
Loot Crate Star Trek Collectible Enamel Pin (w/ Unlock Feature)
Probably the “out of left field” addition to this crate is this plaque decal. Even for a Star Trek fan like myself, it’s an odd thing to get, especially with not necessarily having a great spot to put it.
I do like this month’s pin, which is a great pin to wear for any Star Trek fan. The pin also unlocks some special items in the Star Trek Online MMORPG.
Overall thoughts: This month’s crate, all exclusives, is very much worth the $20 value. Good job Loot Crate team.
