Thursday! Thursday! Getting down on Thursday! Everybody’s looking forward to the Highlight. Partying. Partying. Yea! Partying. Partying. Yea! Fun-fun-fun-funko…. Okay. If anybody needs me I’ll be… over there… Ya know what! Not even embarrassed I’ll be over here and welcome everyone to another edition of The Highlight (Or the Column formerly known as Thursday Night Highlight) brought to you as always by yours truly Esbjo_Figs (From Instagram!) or now commonly known as Eddie from Eddie’s Toy Box (On Youtube!) and last week I wasn’t around due to a pretty bad case of the flu. Yea. I get the flu in Spring. I know. Anyway this is a weekly thing or at least I try to have it be where I showcase some of my best photos of the week from my Instagram page and tell you a little bit about why I picked them. The photo up top? It’s a gimmie! And because I don’t have a header or something fancy like that it helps me add filler to the top. When I posted it I had that Maroon 5 song Maps stuck in my head and if you sing “Map that leads to Luuuuuuke” you get that picture. Right. I’m full of great things this morning.

Flocked Bambi from the Pop! Disney line; Hot Topic Exclusive! Various Walker mystery minis from various The Walking Dead Mystery Mini series. I don’t have any of the Bambi Pops. Well I didn’t anyway. Then Hot Cash became active and my Hot Topic had a few of these Flocked Bambi’s and being they charge $15 retail the rest is pretty much Pop-istory. Don’t steal that. So, hungry walkers have discovered Bambi out and about in the woods and things aren’t looking good for our hero. Bambi’s lived a tough life though and who knows maybe Bambi will make it out of this one alive. I also posted this on a Monday and one of the hashtags over on Instagram is #MysteryMiniMonday so, if you’d like on Mondays showcase some of your favorite mystery minis!
“Wicked Pop Wednesday or just a toy that keeps it real?”
Lotso from the Pop! Disney Toy Story series. As mentioned above with the mystery mini monday hashtag. There’s also a hashtag to show off some of your wicked Pops! It’s on Wednesday too! So, Lotso. Pretty wicked bear right? Had a rough upbringing and was discarded by somebody he thought loved him. Being a toy to a child could be tough. Lotso may be soft on the outside, but a life on the road has hardened our Strawberry scented friend. We’re all just trash waiting to be thrown away! This very well may be the truth, but leaving Woody, Buzz, and the rest of our heroes to burn away and melt lands you on the Wicked list.

Daryl Dixon from the Vinyl Sugar/Funko Dorbz line! I’m not going to collect Dorbz. I’ll say this sentence until I’m blue in the face and surrounded by Dorbz. Just not going to do it. That being said. Here’s a shot of the Daryl Dixon Dorbz. He’s smiling and he’s in great shape, and after that lackluster finale for the Walking Dead (Just my opinion but I felt we were robbed a credible ending) this is how I imagine fans of Daryl Dixon are hoping he turns up come October. Otherwise there’s going to be plenty of rioting going on in the streets and not the kind where a Sports team finally wins the big one… Well… not level of rioting is good. Don’t riot. Just keep watching the show disappointed like the rest of us have been. Oh, and I’m not going to collect Dorbz… I’m not.
