This is a big year for Bif Bang Pow! 2016 marks the year that they have signed on with Marvel to make branded collectibles. Right out of the gate, Spider-Man, Deadpool, and more are part of a new hand-painted wooden collectible series called Peg Pals. While I was at Toy Fair this past weekend, I got a first look at some of the first figures in the collection. Let’s check them out.
A couple of notes about this series:
- Each wooden piece is hand painted with limited decals.
- Each Peg Pal is assigned a number and the entire series is treated as a single collection.
- Armored Batman from BvS: Dawn of Justice is the first in the collection and the Toy Fair 2016 exclusive. The rest of the BvS team appear in the collection as well, though they are not in the photos at the booth.
- I was not able to see more of what’s in store for this line, but there are big plans for all of the BBP brand licenses. Perhaps even vehicles.
- When released, these will available is mass market retailers.

I, for one, am very excited to see where this line leads. Also excited to see how Bif Bang Pow! and Marvel collaborate in the future!
