In this town we call home… everyone hail to… Thursday Night Highlight! Ah gotcha! Welcome everyone to another edition of Thursday Night Highlight where I, @Esbjo_Figs (On Instagram!) show you some of my best photos of the week and tell you a little bit about why I created them. For those of you who may not know (and really come on we’ve been doing this awhile now we should practically be family!) Selina Kyle from the Pop! Heroes Gotham Series and Catwoman from the Pop! Heroes Dark Knight series! So basically this was one of the first photos that came to mind the second I purchased Selina Kyle. Because as some of you may know and really all of you should know is that Gotham is sort of a prequel to Batman in the sense that Batman is a kid, and Catwoman is too. So I wanted to go for that reflection of yourself type look and since I’ve come a long way since I did it with Baymax and Armored Baymax I wanted to give it a whirl with our girls here. It as well received by everyone so I guess I did a good job capturing what I was going for. And if I made you seriously doubt the person you’ve become my apologies… Oh! “Come and face your fears…”
Scarecrow from the Pop! Heroes Batman Arkham Knight series! Well, I wanted to do a Halloween themed week on Instagram because of it being the month of October and all and I figured what better Pop to showcase that then Scarecrow. I mean look at him. He’s frightening. Add in an even creepier background and it makes for one pretty cool looking photo. And why yes… that thing to the side of his head isn’t a hanging sign. Go figure. “Were you expecting someone else?”
SDCC exclusive Regina from the Pop! Television Once Upon a Time Series and NYCC Exclusive Iron Throne from the Pop! Television Game of Thrones series. Let’s face it unless you live under a rock you’re going to be seeing a ton of photos of people using the Iron Throne and putting random Pops into it this week. It can become a bother, but I still say that “What’s in the Box” is the worst thing to plague this community so let’s deal with the Iron Throne photos for the time being and only get upset with them if they are the answer to “Whats in the box”. I’m kidding you guys. Play the game all ya want! But I too am going to annoy you guys with some Throne photos because it really is an awesome piece! First and foremost we went straight for Regina to put her here because who better to rule the land than the Evil Queen herself? Holding the heart in her hand you know not to mess with the Queen.
