Today at Barnes and Noble stores across America, stores were handing out free Funko posters with each Convention Exclusives purchase (while supplies last) to celebrate their Get Pop-Cultured Event. This year’s theme was “Pop! Movies”, and contained all 201 Pops in the Movies line to date. With it came some numbering confirmations and clarifications, as well as a reveal of a new Pop! from the Ted 2 movie… Ted in Flash Gordon T-shirt.
In the movie, the actor who originally portrayed Flash Gordon in the 1980 movie of the same name, Sam J. Jones, cameos as a friend to Ted, who is also a fan.
No release date is known for this new Pop! (numbered #196 in the series), or if it will be an exclusive somewhere.
