Here it in 2015, and with it comes another monthly mystery crate from Loot Crate. This month’s theme was “REWIND”, and it was clear from the teaser pics from Loot Crate that a bunch of us would be going back to our childhoods. Let’s check it out.
First off, there was the box, which from first sight envoked the feel of my old Nintendo game system.. complete with the stickers on it. Whoever designed the inside of this crate grew up with Nintendo.
Now, let’s take a look at this month’s offerings.
1. Retro Arcade Skinny Tie (Black Tie Geek)- Loot Crate Exclusive
This awesome skinny tie, which features an homage to the classic Space Invaders arcade game, looks great. I’m already planning on an outfit to wear with it.
2. 10-Doh! Figure (Squid Kids Ink)- Loot Crate Exclusive
I’ve never heard of the 10-Doh! figures before, but these things are awesome. I love the Doctor Who/ Dr. Mario mashup. Better yet, there are six different mashup designs that are included in this month’s Loot Crate, including a rare gold edition figure. All six designs are Loot Crate exclusive.
3. Star Wars 001 Comic Book Variant (Marvel)- Loot Crate Exclusive
Nothign much to explain here…. exclusive artwork featuring Han, Chewy, and Loot Crate.
4. Voltron Blueprint T-shirt (Flophouse)- Loot Crate Exclusive
This is an awesome t-shirt from Flophouse. Voltron can never go wrong, but a blueprint design is, in my opinion, a home run.
5. Comic Notebook (Unemployed Philosopher’s Guild)
I will be carrying this around with me to turn my life into a comic book.
6. 8-bit Glasses- Loot Crate Exclusive
I have a collection of 8-bit glasses… but another pair cannot hurt.
I know that some people reading this only like month’s where Loot Crate has something Funko inside of it. However, this month especially, you get PLENTY of value in this crate. I think this is a very solid month for Loot Crate, and a great start to 2015.
