Evening All! This weeks Thursday Night Highlight (brought to you by esbjo_figs on Instagram) is focused on the new Disney hit movie Big Hero 6! I caught this movie this past weekend with my two oldest kids and needless to say, but I’ll say it anyway… we loved it! It has something for everyone and it’s not to be missed! Another thing you don’t want to miss out on? The Pops of course! So let’s bring on the photos!
“Ready to feel invincible.”
Armored Baymax (#112) and Hiro Hamada (#109) from the Pop! Disney line. The inspiration from this photo came when I wanted to take a side by side shot of Hiro and his revamped health care companion. Making Yokai lingering in the back and highlighting the yellow in his eyes came sometime afterwards. Simple, but one of my favorites.
“Go away…”
Baymax (#111) from the Pop! Disney line *Amazon GITD exclusive* and Jesse Pinkman (#159) from the Pop! TV line *SDCC 2014 exclusive*. Everyone knows Baymax is a health care companion (if you didn’t that means you skimmed my last photo!) so it only made sense for him to ask poor beaten down Jesse Pinkman what his level of pain was. Pinkman is not a nice guy.
“Look inside yourself. You’re stronger than you think you are.”
Armored Baymax (See first photo for # and line) and Nurse Baymax (Again, see up top.). The inspiration for this photo is in a way to come off as inspirational. We all have our days where we are feeling down. Maybe we didn’t work out… in a week or two. Maybe we’re just having a bad day. Well if someone with a soft exterior like Baymax can become a hero. Anybody can! That seems to be the theme of Big Hero 6 anyway. The rest of the team aren’t just a “bunch of nerds” they became so much more.
“So light it up… up… up”
Armored Baymax ( ^ ). This was the first photo I took of the Big Hero 6 photos. Baymax flying through the air and right through the photo. The added feet effect was done with an existing photo of armored Baymax flying with Hiro.
That’s it for tonight! I promise I’ll get to the two photos a week thing at some point. Thanks for putting up with the extras in the time being!
