It’s Thursday and that can only mean one thing! Time for another edition of Thursday Night Highlight brought to you by Esbjo_Figs (Instagram). Speaking of Instagram I’m only about 110 followers away from starting my mystery giveaway! So, if you haven’t already… make your way over there now and follow me. If you don’t have an account… make one, and follow my page. While you’re there you can follow the popvinyls.com official Instagram as well! Now that the cheap plug is out of the way let’s get on to the pictures! It snowed here on Sunday for the first time this season, but as of today you wouldn’t know it because it’s sunny and there’s not a sign of ice/snow on the ground. But while it was snowing it made for a perfect setting to bust out those Frozen Pops that you all know and love.
Elsa (#82) from the Pop! Disney line. Elsa tracks through the snow with her snowflake in hand. The Queen is turning the green grass into white powder. The blades of grass coming through the snow was a nice touch to show the power of Elsa’s “curse”. I’m sure this will be the first of many Elsa pictures this season.
Olaf (#79) from the Pop! Disney line *SDCC 2014 GITD exclusive*. Do you want to take a picture of a snowman? Okay. So that doesn’t flow as well as the song, but you get the idea. What better Pop to use in the snow then of this beloved snowman? Although it is kind of morbid when you think about it. Olaf is essentially making a snow angel on top of his unmade family. Frozen 2 perhaps?
Kristoff (#83) and Sven (#80) from the Pop! Disney line. Sven has gotten himself into some trouble as his body has been covered in snow! Kristoff has come along to save the day. The inspiration for this photo, as the other two, was snow. I know some people don’t like snow, but it’s one of those things where before December 25th I love it. December 26th and any time after is what I’m not a fan of.
Before I go…
This is an honorable mention from last week. If I hadn’t done the Frozen shots this one would have been featured first. Daryl Dixon on his bike from the Pop Rides line. This literally to me came out of nowhere available to order online last week. The masses quickly jumped on it and I’m glad I did as well. I swore I’d never get a Pop Ride, but just like mystery minis they sort of creep up on you and before you realize you have a problem you’re already at the cash register with 6 minis. Anywho… This is Daryl riding away from walkers.
Thanks once again for your time! I hope you enjoy the pictures (as always) as much as I like creating them. Take a second… head over to www.instagram.com/esbjo_figs for more photos like the few up top. Remember to check back here every Thursday for the highlights, and on the Funko Trading by Popvinyls.com facebook page! Have a good night, be kind to one another, and In box Collectors… Let it go… Let it gooooo… and…. FREE THE POPS!
