Spotlight On: Partners in Prevention Charity Event- Week #2

This week, our friend Dan Stevens of Dragonfly Designs started Week #2 of his Partners in Prevention- Funko Funatics Fighting Cancer Charity Auction. Last week’s auctions raised over $1000, and bigger and better things are to come. Here is a little bit about this fundraiser for those of you who are wondering.

Partners in Prevention – Funko Funatics Fighting Cancer is a charity auction being held on eBay with 100% of the money raised being donated to The Breast Cancer Fund, in honor my friend Courtney Harrington LeBoeuf.

Inspired by Funko and the auction held recently in conjunction with the Emerald City ComiCon,Partners in Prevention features 19 amazing Funko POP custom figures made by members of Funko’s fan community – the Funko Funatics.

An environmental lawyer, artist, adventurer and a dear friend, Courtney lost her courageous 4-year battle with breast cancer, during which time she swam the “Escape from Alcatraz” event, and travelled to Dubai, Egypt, Scotland and Australia. She was an inspiration and support to countless other women battling breast cancer, and she was passionate about exposing environmental factors that contribute to the disease, designating the Breast Cancer Fund as a beneficiary of her own memorial fund.
